Children will be dismissed during the announcement portion of the service. For first time families we ask that you drop off your child, as you need to fill out a one-time general information form. When you’re finished please hand the completed form directly to the classroom teacher. Don't hesitate to let the teacher know of any other questions or concerns.
FAQs
1. Do I still need to drop off my child after I’ve already filled out the form?
You can if you prefer, but you don’t have to.The teacher will also be standing at the sanctuary door that leads to the patio and can walk the children out together.
2. What if my child needs to use the restroom?
There is a restroom right next to the classroom. The teacher will check that it’s empty, and your child will go in alone while the teacher waits at the classroom door for their return. We ask that you try and take them before class to not interupt class time.
3. What if my child needs me during service?
If anything comes up, we will call or text the phone number you have provided on the information form.
4. Do I need to pick up my child, or will they be brought back in to the sanctuary?
Yes, please pick up your child within 5–10 minutes after service ends. For safety, only the individuals listed on your child’s form will be allowed to pick them up.
5. What if there are changes to the general information form?
Simply let the teacher know and she will give you a new form to fill out to make the update.
